Stephanie is the Assistant Director of Admission Events for the College of Arts and Sciences. In her role, Stephanie plans and executes in-person and virtual events for prospective and admitted students and their families. Stephanie also supports students in her home state of Texas, among others,  through the college application and decision process.

Stephanie received a Bachelor's degree in Family Human Services from the University of Oregon. Soon after receiving her undergraduate degree, Stephanie attended Oregon State University, where she received a Master's in Education through the College Student Services and Administration program. Before joining Willamette University and working in admission, Stephanie worked in various offices such as Student Orientation and the Dean of Students Office, supporting Parents and Families programs.

Why Willamette?

I chose to work at Willamette University because of the people. Every day, I get to come to work with passionate people across all departments who are eager to collaborate and enhance the student experience for prospective and current students.

Favorite High School or College Class or Subject?

I took a course in college called "Hip Hop and Politics of Race." It was my favorite class because we spent a whole week covering Beyonce when her Lemonade album came out.

Something You Learned in College You Still Use?

In college, I served in various leadership roles that taught me how to support students' professional development. Now, as a professional in higher education, I continue to use a student-focus lens in supporting students through their development and navigating their college application process.

Memorable/Favorite High School or College Co- Curricular Activity

I loved playing intramural sports! Although I had never played soccer before, it was a great way for me to meet new people and have a weekly activity with my friends. I can now say that I am a part of the 2016 Intramural Soccer Champions!

Proudest Accomplishment to Date

My proudest accomplishment to date is completing my master's program. This accomplishment holds significant meaning to me, as it is a testament to my resilience, perseverance, and belief that education can truly transform lives.
