Community Action Fund for Equity & Sustainability

In April 2014 ASWU (Associated Students of Willamette University) voted on a proposed CAFES constitution and held a campus-wide referendum where a majority of voting undergraduate students supported the establishment of a new student fee to support the new Community Action Fund for Equity & Sustainability program.

This fund is supported by a $25 per student per semester fee. Currently only undergraduate students are charged the fee.

Students are automatically charged the fee but are provided with an opt-out option via Self-Service with a mid-September deadline if they do not want to support the program. A similar opt-out option will be available for the Spring semester.
