Classes begin with focusing and warm-up followed by gentle to intense activity and ending in 10 minutes of deep relaxation.
We will explore different approaches to Yoga such as Iyengar, Sivananda, Yogafit, etc.
As we improve our physical conditioning, it is also possible to experience a sense of general well being, self-confidence and stress reduction.
Students may take this course more than once.
Please wear comfortable yet proper clothes that do not restrict your movement. Footless tights, leotards and t-shirts are best. Running shorts or basketball shorts are not ideal. Bare feet are essential.
Please bring a yoga mat to each class. Try not to come to class with a full stomach.
