In Transition to College Learning, you will acquire practical tools that will facilitate your increasing success at Willamette University. Each student will set measurable goals for improving academic performance, and we will work towards those goals by employing strategies and techniques that will help you make the most of the University’s many resources. We will engage in conversations about the intent and purpose of a liberal arts education, and you will identify ways to work towards your long-term goals within the context of your values and your sense of vocation. This course will emphasize academic integrity and ethical scholarship as an extension of the idea of vocation: core values, experiences, and training combine to lead us towards the fulfillment of our aspirations.

This course meets for one half semester, offered every semester, for .5 credits. If you are interested in enrolling, please contact Jessica Cardinal-Lanier at jcardinallanier@willamette.edu.
