International Applicants: Graduate Studies

All applicants to Willamette's Data Science program must have completed the full sequence of preparatory studies and examinations equivalent to a U.S. bachelor's degree from an approved institution. Please contact us for further information.

  • Official transcripts from all colleges & universities attended
  • Two references
  • One essay
  • Resume
  • Proof of language proficiency.* Official TOEFL of 88 or IELTS of 6.5. The TOEFL code for Willamette is 4954.
  • On-campus or virtual interview (by invitation only).

*Applicants may receive a waiver of the TOEFL if all of the requirements for the bachelor’s degree or an advanced degree were completed in a country where the primary and dominant language is English and English was the language of instruction of the school. Please contact us for further information.

Official bank verification of funds (written in English) and a photocopy of the name page of your passport are required to issue the Form I-20 and must be received in order to accept an offer of admission. However, they are not required for admission consideration.
