Biography
Jessica Kliewer brings a wealth of experience to her role as the Assistant Dean of Admissions. Kliewer works with JD, LLM, and MLS students from inquiry to matriculation, helping to guide students interested in pursuing a graduate degree in law. She is also the Pre Law advisor at Willamette University College of Arts & Sciences. Kliewer also focuses on the development and implementation of recruitment initiatives aimed at achieving enrollment and revenue goals.
With a background spanning 18 years in education and non-profit sectors, including significant contributions within the Salem-Keizer school district, she has honed her skills in community outreach, project administration, program development, and curriculum design.
Her tenure includes overseeing diverse initiatives, such as the administration of an AmeriCorps grant and management of the YMCA's Salem Teen Court program, showcasing her ability to lead and nurture impactful projects. Kliewer's commitment to education and community welfare is evident through her dedication to fostering the success of law school faculty and students.
A native Oregonian, Kliewer's passion extends beyond her professional endeavors, as she actively engages in creative pursuits, volunteers at community events, and values time spent with friends and family.
