Work Experience

Willamette Community Bank: President, Chief Executive Officer (April 2018 – current)
• Responsible for the overall leadership of the current and future operations of the bank, including implementing the vision of the Bank as established by the Board of Directors and aligning the culture of the bank with the vision.
• Public representative and spokesperson for the organization.
• Provide direction for future business plans and budgets; continually seek out opportunities to grow revenues and increase profit margins.
• Maintain satisfactory performance in all regulatory exams and audits; ensure the Bank is operating in a safe and sound manner.
• Cultivate ties and communication with customers, regulators, employees, and community.

Operations Management
Willamette Community Bank: SVP, Chief Operations Officer (August 2010 – April 2018)
• Direct internal operations to achieve budgeted results and other financial criteria and to preserve the capital funds invested in the bank.
• Participate in the development and preparation of short-term and long-range plans and budgets based upon broad organization goals and objectives. Recommend their adoption to the CEO.
• Direct the development and installation of procedures and controls, promote communication and adequate information flow, and solidify management control and direction of the bank
• Develop and establish operating policies consistent with the bank’s broad policies and objectives and insure their adequate execution. Appraise and evaluate the results of overall operations regularly and systematically; report these results to the CEO and the Board of Directors.
• Direct the development and establishment of adequate and equitable personnel policies throughout the organization, including compensation policies and employee benefit plans. Insure that the interests and welfare of employees as individuals are preserved and protected
• Oversee Treasury/Cash Management products, functions, and sales. Oversee the implementation of new products and services.
• Direct bank compliance in accordance with current and on-going regulatory changes; served as BSA Officer 2010 – 2015.
• Manage and maintain IT Network and core applications via third party outsource in a state that provides for maximum, uninterrupted service level along with safe and sound practices.
• Implement, test and maintain the Business Continuity Plan.
• Served as interim CEO, December 2012 – April 2013

Sales/Service Management
Bank of the Cascades: VP, Assistant Branch Manager (January 2009 – August 2010)
• Responsible for branch operations, sales, and balance sheet growth
• Actively grow customer and prospect lists to expand and develop customer relationships
• Implemented branch wide calling program for customer retention purposes
• Retained some of Regional Operations Management duties including robbery/disaster response, communication to branch Operations Supervisors, and clarification of policies and procedures
