Biography
Carlotta Alverson is an accomplished attorney with a diverse background in law and business. Carlotta graduated from Willamette College of Law and Willamette's Atkinson Graduate School of Management, where she received a dual degree in law and a master's in business administration.
During her time in law school, Carlotta gained valuable experience clerking in the civil litigation section for the Department of Justice and for Judge Shoor at the Oregon Court of Appeals. She was also actively engaged in various student organizations, including serving as president of the Multicultural Law Student Association and Women's Law Caucus, and as Editor-in-Chief of Willamette Law Online.
Post-graduation, Carlotta has worked as an insurance defense trial attorney. In addition to an active trial practice, Carlotta is deeply committed to giving back to the community. As a co-instructor of Philanthropic Investment for Community Impact Course (PICI), Carlotta empowers students to become leaders and innovators who truly make a difference in nonprofit organizations. By honing their leadership skills, students learn how to address community needs in a sustainable manner through funding organization that make a difference and by making a meaningful and sustainable impact that lasts beyond the classroom.
In her leisure moments, Carlotta enjoys studying Japanese and spending quality time with her spouse, two children, and their Goldendoodle, Pearl.
