Willamette MBA

This year Bloomberg Businessweek ranked schools in five separate categories — Compensation, Learning, Networking, Entrepreneurship, and Diversity.

Willamette MBA performed strongly in all categories, ranking 17th in Diversity, 22nd in Entrepreneurship, 49th in Learning, 50th in Networking, 78th in Compensation with an overall U.S. ranking of 66 — the second highest-ranked school in the Pacific Northwest and first in Oregon yet again.

“We are thrilled that our overall ranking rose from 82nd to 66th on Bloomberg Businessweek 2021-22 Best B-Schools MBA ranking,” says Dean Orn Bodvarsson. “We are the only MBA program in Oregon and only one of two programs in the Pacific Northwest to make it on the list. And, we are especially pleased to see Willamette MBA make it into the top 20 in the new diversity index! These outstanding results speak so well to our exceptional faculty, dedicated staff, leading edge curriculum, high retention rates, and a tremendously supportive alumni community that always stands ready to help our students achieve post-graduation success.”

According to Bloomberg Businessweek’s survey of students and alumni, on what’s best about the Willamette MBA program, students and alumni said the following:

“The professors are great and have so much experience to share with us. The network of alumni that the school has is also incredible for finding jobs and internships.”

“The curriculum was structured in a way that students receive a well-rounded business education and gain knowledge in all subject matters required to succeed in any corporate function or in an entrepreneurial endeavor.”

“I enjoyed the collaborative and teamwork focus across the curriculum and the emphasis on experiential learning.”
