Womxn's History Month Leaders of WU nomination campaign

Contact: Andrea Doyle Hugmeyer

Please join the Gender Resource & Advocacy Center in celebrating Womxn's History Month.

Celebrate Womxn's History Month by nominating womxn at WU who have positively impacted our community through their leadership efforts. Nominees can include students, faculty, and staff.

Students and staff associated with the GRAC will select nominees to be featured in a poster campaign in March as well as on our social media accounts. The purpose of this project is to offer recognition, visual representation, and meaningful insight about leaders on our campus. These efforts will create a historical account of womxn who have impacted our community. This project will continue each year, showcasing empowering leaders on our campus.

Please complete the nomination form by Wednesday, February 26th at noon. We will then begin the selection and creation of posters showcasing our nominees, for posting on campus in March.

*WOMXN: The term womxn is used intentionally to convey the inclusivity of trans and gender non-conforming individuals. Read more about the term here: https://www.dailydot.com/irl/womyn/
