Distance learning resources

Jackie Barretta, Vice President and Chief Information Officer

Welcome back from spring break. WITS has been working hard with faculty and staff members to prepare for your distance learning, teaching and telecommuting needs. Jointly, we’ve developed tools, FAQs and instructions to help you make a smooth transition.

Please make use of the following resources.

Please contact the WITS Help Desk at 503-370-6767 or wits@willamette.edu if you need any assistance along the way. We will be updating these resources regularly.

Bishop Wellness Center now offering telehealth appointments to students
Don Thomson, Director, Bishop Wellness Center

These are unprecedented and challenging times for everyone in our community. We want to assure you that students will continue to have access to physical health and mental care in Bishop Wellness Center; we just need to do it a little differently. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Bishop is changing how we provide health and counseling services to our students. Starting March 30, 2020 and running through the end of the spring semester, appointments in Bishop will be provided via remote telehealth.

Bishop Wellness Center has implemented Zoom for Health Care, a HIPAA compliant, secure video platform designed for health care providers. Students not wanting to use this medium or those without access to reliable internet can also schedule phone calls with providers. More information regarding telehealth appointments in Health Services and Counseling Services can be found on our website.

We're thinking about you all and can't wait to see everyone back on campus when it's safe to do so. Remember Bearcats, Stay Home, Save Lives!
