Opportunities and resources for care and connection
Karen Wood, University Chaplain
During these challenging times, the Office of the Chaplains is offering a number of opportunities and resources for care and connection. If you are looking for live virtual connection to community, we invite you to join us at any of the following meetings.
- Mindfulness meditation — This brief guided meditation meets online from 4:10 to 4:30 p.m. Mondays.
- Morning Prayer Zoom — We use the prayer book of the Christian community in Corrymeela, Ireland at 8:30 a.m. weekdays.
- Coffee hour online — Grab your mug and join us at 4 p.m. Wednesdays.
- University Convocation — We meet via Zoom at 11:30 a.m. Thursdays. Our April 16 topic is “Adulting Hacks, Coronavirus edition.”
On the Spiritual Care Resources of our website, you’ll find an expanding list of fresh resources from a variety of spiritual, humanistic and religious traditions to help us all live and love the lives we have right now — even in the midst of anxiety and uncertainty.
Finally, if you just need to get up and dance (or smile), check out our COVID-19 themed Spotify playlist.
The Office of the Chaplains is here for you.
