Important resources and procedures regarding the reopening of campus
Reopening Operations Committee
The Willamette community formally opens the 2020–21 academic year this morning at Opening Convocation. We’re excited to have everyone back together both on campus and virtually. You can view Convocation at 10:45 a.m. on WISE or at this link.
Please take the time to review the following resources that will assist you as the campus reopens.
- Well WU Agreement — Before you arrive on campus, don’t forget to indicate that you’ve read and agree to follow the agreement. Students can do this on WISE. Employees should do so via Workday.
- #CampusClear App — Use this tool daily to make tracking your symptoms easier. The app is available via iOS, Android and a web interface. For more information, review the August 19 “Free Daily Symptoms Check Tool” update on the “Return to Campus Plan” website.
- General campus procedures — The “Returning to Campus” video will guide you through things you need to do before you return and will familiarize you with changes you’ll see when you arrive on campus.
- Dining services — The “Dining Services at Willamette” video will teach you about important changes that you need to know about Goudy, Rick’s, The Bistro and Blitz Market.
- Face masks — Equip yourself with face masks that meet the university’s requirement that facial covering be worn in all indoor and outdoor public spaces on campus, even around people who live in the same residence hall room, building, apartment and household. You may remove your mask when in your private office, residence hall room or while eating and maintaining six feet of distance. Please follow the same protocols when you are off campus. For more information, review the August 17 “Make Your Facemask More Effective” announcement on the “Return to Campus Plan” website.
Thank you for taking the time to review these materials and for taking the necessary steps to promote and protect the safety of our community.
