Andrea Doyle Hugmeyer appointed to national council

Hugmeyer will serve on the advisory council for the National Crime Victim Law Institute.

Andrea Doyle Hugmeyer, Willamette University's director of the Gender Resource & Advocacy Center and confidential advocate has been appointed to serve on the advisory council for the National Crime Victim Law Institute (NCVLI).

The role of the advisory council is to advise and make recommendations to the NCVLI to strengthen the impact of their work to protect, enforce and advance victims’ rights, to raise awareness about victims’ rights, and to call the larger community to action regarding these rights.

Andrea will share her experience and expertise in the support and advocacy for victims and survivors of sexual and domestic violence to ensure the programs offered are current and relevant. Please join us in congratulating Andrea on this special honor.
