Today, the Willamette University Department of Theatre opens its production of "A Bright New Boise" by Samuel D. Hunter.
Set in the break room of a Hobby Lobby in Idaho, this award-winning, impactful dark comedy delves into themes of family, religion and personal responsibility.
Willamette students and staff can attend live performances, though the seating is limited for each performance. There are also online options to watch the performance.

$5 tickets for all students.
Live audience performances are COVID-modified, including onstage hygiene products and costumes featuring "face masks as fashion." The theatre has gone to great lengths to share great art in the safest space possible. Audience members are socially distanced, and additional measures are observed by audience and actors alike. Tickets for live attendance must be prepurchased.
