We are writing to invite you to participate in an online study examining college students’ graph reading skills. Please note if you have completed this study already, you are not eligible to complete it a second time.
The study will take place in two sessions that are two weeks apart and completed remotely from your computer or laptop. You will be compensated with $35–$40 total in Amazon gift cards for participation. You will receive a $15-gift card after completing the first session, and $20–$25 after completing the second session (depending upon performance across the two assessments). Each session is expected to last 1–1.5 hours.
The study is funded by the National Science Foundation and is being conducted by professors Courtney Stevens and Melissa Witkow in the Willamette University Department of Psychology. To qualify, you must be a degree-seeking Willamette student currently completing your first or second year. Juniors and seniors are not eligible.
Interested students should fill out the linked form and will be contacted with more information to sign up for time slots. Sign-ups will be available beginning next week and possibly extending into the beginning of summer break.
