As a reminder, PNCA.edu accounts will no longer be accessible after Thursday, September 30, 2021. Therefore, the PNCA community will need to fully transition from their PNCA.edu G Suite accounts (email, calendar, and Drive) to their new Willamette.edu account by the end of September.
The transition process consists of 5 steps:
- Creating your Willamette.edu network/email account;
- Forwarding your email;
- Recreating your calendar events;
- Preparing your Google Drive and shared documents for migration; and
- Migrating your email and Google Drive content.
To ensure you don’t lose access to emails or documents in your PNCA.edu G Suite accounts please complete the migration by Sept. 30.
To help you navigate through the transition process, we have created a G Suite Transition Checklist. The Checklist provides both a suggested timeline for ensuring you complete the migration process by Sept. 30th and links to guides for completing each step in the process.
Please note that if you did not utilize your PNCA.edu account to send and receive email or to store Drive content, you do not need to follow these steps. If you have just started to use your PNCA.edu email address, you may only need to set-up email forwarding.
To facilitate us keeping apprised about your progress through the transition, we ask that as you complete a step in the process, you check it off in the Checklist by clicking the checkbox next to the task. If a step in the process doesn’t apply to you, we would appreciate you checking it off as completed on the checklist.
If you have already completed the transition process and no longer need access to your personal PNCA.edu G Suite accounts we would appreciate you logging into the Checklist once and letting us know that by simply checking off the last item in the Checklist: “I have completed all of steps in the migration process and no longer need access to any of the content in your PNCA.edu G Suite account.”
Depending on how extensively you have used your PNCA.edu G Suite accounts, parts of the transition process may take some time to complete. As a result, we strongly encourage you to migrate your account as soon as possible.
