Biography
Sally (she/her) is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Oregon and is the product of a liberal arts education, graduating from Lawrence University in Appleton, WI, before earning her master’s in Mental Health Counseling. She has worked at a number of college counseling centers and is passionate about empowering students to engage in healthy, meaningful relationships with themselves and with others. Her clinical interests include adjustment during life transitions, interpersonal relationships and communication, anxiety, and interpersonal violence. She has also done work with sexual assault response, education, and prevention. Sally primarily utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy and solution-focused brief therapy when working with students and works to understand students' lived experiences and the systemic issues that impact their daily lives. In her free time, Sally enjoys watching sports, spending time with her family, gardening, and going to the lake.
