Changes in Health Services

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Bishop Wellness Center is changing how we provide health services to assure students have access to care while maintaining appropriate physical distancing mandates.

Bishop Wellness Center is using Zoom for Health Care, a video platform designed for health care providers. All audio/video communication is securely encrypted and transmitted from point-to-point such that even Zoom does not have access to any identifiable health information that may be communicated. You can also schedule phone calls with providers as well to determine the appropriate next step for your concerns.

Additional Health Services

Most insurance and health providers have nurse advice lines available for members. They are usually listed on the back of your insurance card or on their website. This is a great way to get many of your questions answered without needing to schedule an appointment.

If you have the PacificSource student insurance, you can access TelaDoc, a 24/7 telehealth service.

You can contact a community provider, such as a primary care doctor whom you've previously seen and ask what services they are offering.

Salem Health has a range of primary and urgent care services available.

• COVID-19 Triage Line (503)814-0099
• Respiratory Clinic Screenings (503)814-4400
Non-Respiratory Urgent Care

Kaiser Permanente’s Lancaster Drive office also offers a range of services, including no cost e-visits, urgent care.

Salem Clinic also has a range of services available.

These are trying times. We wish you the best for your health and hope you’ll reach out as needed. We look forward to returning to in-person care in the future.
