COVID-19 and International Education at WU

We are pleased to share that, as of fall 2021, some Willamette-sponsored study abroad programs have resumed operating. Other programs remain canceled due to factors such as travel restrictions in the host country, local COVID-19 conditions or other circumstances that prevent us from sending students to a particular location at this time.

We have developed a COVID-19 Dashboard to guide our decision-making about whether to run individual study abroad programs. Decisions are based on 7 factors which are evaluated on a weekly basis. A list of those factors and a description of each can be found in the dashboard linked below. The dashboard data, focusing on the next semester's programs, will be updated on a regular basis during the course of each semester.
