Leaders of this program will introduce new students to the many outdoor opportunities in Oregon during the 5-day Jump Start program in mid-August. The student staff will lead various hikes and go whitewater rafting as well as administer evening activities and community building. Successful Steppin' Out leaders should enjoy the outdoors, engage new students, and sharing their WU experiences. To apply, go here.

Intramural Supervisors deliver the entire intramural program. They are responsible for assisting in hiring, developing, and training/scheduling of referees, league supervision, tournament development and coordination, marketing/promotions, office/clerical work, website management, and special events. Students will work in a fun, high energy environment with their peers. Good communication, organization, passion for sports, and good follow through make quality applicants.

Student Referees are responsible for applying the rules for fair and safe play in the intramural program. They are also responsible for the controlling the game atmosphere. All referees go through a training series. Previous referee experience is not required but preferred. Knowledge of the specific sport is desired.

The Outdoor Program Assistants are responsible for staffing the Outdoor Program office, clerical work, gear reservations/returns, and gear maintenance. Strong organizational skills, exceptional reliability and a self starter make a strong applicant.
