- Absent from class for one week or more
If a student is absent from class for a week or more, they should communicate with their faculty to develop a plan to catch up. If the absence is anticipated in advance, the student should communicate with their faculty member in advance whenever possible.

In the law school, the attendance policy states that students are required to attend at least 75% of all scheduled class meetings. If a student is concerned about prolonged absence from classes, they should contact the Associate Dean for Student Affairs or the Law Office of Student Affairs (OSA) for support and resources. - Academic support and tutoring
Salem Resources
Academic Support aids the academic efforts, engagement, and achievements of College of Arts & Sciences students by providing services geared towards student success. Students can get time management and study tips, work with a tutor, and connect to other resources. The Academic Support team can be reached at 503-370-6505 or academicsupport@willamette.edu.
Academic Support also partners with the Writing Center, Digital Learning Studio, and QUAD Center.

- Accommodations for learning, physical, medical, and mental disabilities
Accessible Education Services (AES) facilitates the accommodation request process and provides holistic support for students that experience disability or identify as disabled. - Bias report
Community members should report any act of discrimination act of bigotry, harassment or intimidation based on actual or perceived race, religion, color, ethnicity, national origin, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, genetic information, disability, status as a protected veteran, pregnancy, marital status, or any other category protected by law. There are a variety of possible next steps and outcomes from any Bias Report. - Bills and student accounts

- Career opportunities or career counseling
On the Salem campus, Career Development assists students in defining their professional goals, obtain career-related experiences, enhance their strategies for networking and the job/internship search, graduate school preparation, and other meaningful post-graduate opportunities. On the PNCA campus, students can utilize the Office of Career Design.
All MBA programs have dedicated Career Development staff to help secure summer internships and successfully navigate their professional careers. In the law school, the Office of Career Planning & Development (OCPD) works with students to create individualized development plans and tools for success in today's legal job market. Students are encouraged to work closely with OCPD from their first year through graduation to participate in mentoring opportunities, networking events, resume and cover letter reviews, mock interviews, and more. The Office of Community Service-Learning encourages a sense of civic responsibility by cultivating mutually beneficial relationships within the greater Salem community. - Conflict resolution
Conflicts occur for many different reasons. It is often helpful to have a collaborative and supportive partner when resolving conflict. If a student wants assistance with a conflict, they can contact the Office of Student Affairs at 503-370-6447 or student-affairs-office@willamette.edu.

Willamette offers student employment opportunities. - Facilities concerns
The Facilities Department is responsible for the daily operations, maintenance and upkeep of approximately 1.4 million square feet of academic, residential, administrative and off campus properties situated on approximately 60 acres with all the associated utilities and infrastructure. If a student identifies a facility concern, they should contact the Facilities Department.

- Students living on the Salem campus can complete a Housing Maintenance Report if something in their room needs repair.
- Students living in ArtHouse in Portland can complete a maintenance request by emailing maintenance@livearthouse.com; they should include their room number, a description of the maintenance need, and a statement that the maintenance staff may enter their room to complete the required work.

- Food, book, and clothing resources
On the Salem campus, the Students Organizing for Access to Resources (SOAR) Center offers a food pantry, clothing share, and book lending library. They can be reached at soar-center@willamette.edu. There are additional financial wellbeing resources available.
PNCA students may access a food pantry outside of the Office of Student Affairs.
The Willamette University Public Interest Law Project (WUPILP) is a student organization that offers a used law school textbook sale every year.
- Gender Resource and Advocacy Center (GRAC)
The Gender Resource and Advocacy Center (GRAC) provides resources, support, and a safe and affirming space to students of any gender and sexual identity in the Willamette community, including all colleges and campuses. The GRAC offers individual and confidential advocacy to those impacted by sexual violence, stalking, relationship violence, and sexual harassment.
