Frequently Asked Questions

How will I access LinkedIn Learning?

LinkedIn Learning is directly accessible from a new tab within the portal. It will take you directly into Linkedin Learning, unless this is your first time logging in or you clicked the log out button last time you were logged in. If this is your first time logging in, always go through the portal.

The first time you log in, you will have the option to connect your LinkedIn profile to your LinkedIn Learning account (see more below). If you do not have a LinkedIn profile, you can create one. This guide (PDF doc) will provide step-by-step instructions.

When logging back in after clicking the log out button, you’ll need to remember whether you connected your LinkedIn profile to your LinkedIn Learning account. Let's say you have a LinkedIn account that you use with your personal Gmail. If you connect your LinkedIn account to your LinkedIn Learning account, whenever you log back in, you have to sign back in with your personal Gmail address. If, on the other hand, you decide NOT to connect your personal LinkedIn account, when you try to log back in, you will have to use your Willamette email.

Am I required to connect my LinkedIn profile to my Willamette LinkedIn Learning account?

No, connecting your profile is optional. If you change your mind, you retain the option to connect your profile at a later time. This can be done by getting back into LinkedIn Learning, going to the main home screen, looking under "Recommended for you", and clicking on ‘Connect My Profile”.
