The SHRM Foundation

The SHRM Foundation is the 501(c)(3) non-profit affiliate of SHRM.  A leading funder of HR research grants, the Foundation produces publications and educational resources to advance the HR profession. The SHRM Foundation has committed a total of $100,000 annually for scholarships to be awarded to national SHRM members pursuing a degree in human resources or SPHR, GPHR, PHR or California certification. Members working in the media industry and pursuing a college degree are eligible to apply for a Barbara Sanchez Scholarship.

In addition, chapters and state councils are eligible to compete for the scholarship monies to fund programs that promote SPHR, GPHR, PHR or California certification. Through the SHRM Foundations, students can apply for grants to further their human resource studies or supplement income during internship positions.
