The Auxiliary Division of WEMS aims to involve non-licensed students in the organization to provide exposure to the medical and EMS fields. Auxiliary members are eligible to join WEMS in weekly training, attend events, be ambassadors for the program, train the community on topics such as alcohol poisoning and hands-only CPR, and role-play as patients during skill practice for our licensed members, or help plan community outreach and training events. Auxiliary members are even eligible to apply to be on the Executive Board of WEMS to serve in a non-medical capacity.
