Biography
Ted Hammers is an associate attorney at the law firm Thompson, Coe & O'Meara, LLP in Los Angeles, California where he practices business and insurance defense litigation. Born and raised in the hometown of Abraham Lincoln and CW Post, Springfield, Illinois, Ted has always had an innate interest in law and business.
Ted graduated from Willamette University College of Law in May of 2018. During his time at Willamette, Ted was a part of the inaugural class of the Business Lawyering Institute Fellows and an active member of the Moot Court Board executive committee and the Willamette University Journal of International Law and Dispute Resolution. Prior to his studies at Willamette, Ted received his BA in political science at the University of Missouri-Columbia. Ted is currently pursuing a Master of Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine University's Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution.
Outside of work, Ted is a dual citizen of Latvia, enjoys skiing and going to the beach and giving back to his community through volunteer work with the mentally and physically disabled.
