Biography
Jordan Hurd joined Willamette University College of Law in early 2019 as the Associate Director of Admissions. Her role allows her to work with JD, JD/MBA, LLM, and MLS students from inquiry to matriculation assisting students in pursuing their law degree and following their passion.
Prior to joining Willamette in early 2019, Ms. Hurd spent her professional career involved in all forms of education. She worked within classroom teaching, informal outdoor education, and finally arrived within higher education. Ms. Hurd worked for graduate and undergraduate programs where she connected with military students wanting to earn their degrees while balancing life and work. Ms. Hurd takes pride in making sure her students feel her support as they work towards their degree, and is forever grateful to play even a small part in a student’s pursuit of their dreams. As a first-generation college student herself, she is always happy to answer any questions no matter how small.
Outside of work Ms. Hurd loves being as active as possible outdoors with her husband, son, and dog (although her dog is an English bulldog who mainly just likes to sleep). Ms. Hurd has moved all over the country but will forever call Oregon and the Pacific Northwest home.
