The Willamette MBA for Professionals program is committed to making our MBA program accessible for students. As such, we offer a variety of scholarships and discounts, as well as easy access to direct educational loans.
All admitted students are automatically considered for scholarship awards; a separate scholarship application is not required.

These are some of the scholarships available to MBA for Professionals students.
Dean's Achievement Scholarship
The Dean's Achievement Scholarship is awarded to qualified admitted applicants who present excellent academic credentials. This scholarship requires a minimum cumulative undergraduate grade point average of 3.5, combined with a minimum GMAT score of 580 or GRE score at the 50th percentile. The GRE score percentile will be based on the average of the verbal and quantitative scores. This scholarship is awarded for six consecutive semesters, beginning with the semester of entry.
Dean's Opportunity Award
The Dean's Opportunity Award is awarded to admitted students based on the overall strength of the candidate's application: work experience, personal statement, GPA, admissions interview, and overall fit for the MBA program.
Leadership Award
The Leadership Award is based on a candidate's demonstrated history of leadership through progressive professional responsibility and/or leadership in civic, community, professional, or extracurricular organizations.
Entrepreneurship Award
The Entrepreneurship Award is based on a candidate's demonstrated experience starting and/or leading a new venture, small business, or not-for-profit organization.
Alumni Discount
The Alumni Discount is awarded to admitted applicants who graduated with a degree from Willamette University (undergraduate or graduate). This tuition discount is awarded throughout the duration of the program. Alumni who apply and provide Willamette transcripts as part of the admission process will automatically be awarded the discount if eligible.
George and Colleen Hoyt Not-for-Profit Scholarship
The George and Colleen Hoyt Not-for-Profit Scholarship was created by the Hoyts to provide support for graduate education in the Atkinson Graduate School of Management, as well as support students committed to the management of not-for-profit organizations. Hoyt scholarships will be award to students enrolled in the MBA-P program who have significant not-for-profit experience and who exhibit a commitment to serving not-for-profit organizations.
A separate application is required for the Hoyt scholarship. Applications are available in August and scholarships are awarded for the September term. Currently enrolled, admitted and prospective students are encouraged to apply.

Willamette University employees are not eligible for participation in the Dean's Achievement Scholarship program. In addition, MBA-P students participating in tuition discount programs, or who are recipients of other Willamette University scholarship funds, including funds provided in partnership with the Yellow Ribbon scholarship program for veterans, may be limited on the number of scholarships or discounts in which they are eligible to accrue.
