Biography
Gregory Saliba is a financial professional with nearly 20 years of experience advising corporate and individual clients. Gregory is founder and president of Taurus Capital Management. His professional expertise includes leadership positions with Capital Pacific Bank, Piper Jaffray and U.S. Bank. As an adjunct educator since 2003, Gregory teaches corporate finance, debt and equity valuation, market risk and return concepts, and various analytical methodologies.
Gregory Saliba is the 2010 Oregon Ethics in Business Award recipient in the individual category. "Oregon Ethics in Business Awards recipients have, by act and example, gone beyond the expected to achieve excellence in ethical business practices." The Portland Business Journal named Gregory Saliba as one of its "Top 40 Executives Under 40" for 2008. Greg was also a member of the 2008-09 Leadership Portland class.
Gregory holds NASD Series 7 and 66 securities licenses and was a Registered Representative for Piper Jaffray & Co. Gregory is also a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP).
Gregory had opportunities to gain extensive international experience by teaching finance in Russia via the Free Market Business Development Institute program in 2001. He also studied Japanese history and culture at Doshisha University in Kyoto, Japan in 1988-89.
