Singapore & Vietnam Fall Semester Course

GSM 7261G – Fall 2019


Trip Dates: January 4-11, 2020

Priority Application Deadline: July 1 (rolling until filled, there's a few spots left!)

Full Payment Required: September 1, 2019 (if you qualify, Financial Aid can be extended to include entire program costs)


Fall Course Information: Singapore

GSM 7261G is a one-credit graded independent study course. Credits for this course will count towards graduation requirements.

  • Professor: Professor Gary Knight
  • Prerequisites: One semester of Willamette MBA or Law coursework and good academic and conduct standing
  • Tuition: There is no tuition charge for GSM7261G for fall semester 2019 or spring semester 2020. Students are responsible for all program fees and estimated costs
  • Attendance: Course requires attendance and participation in class sessions prior to and following the trip
  • Singapore Itinerary: TBD
  • Syllabus: TBD
  • Class Dates: Saturdays 9 a.m.–2 p.m. (December 7 and January 18)

Estimated Costs

All inclusive of program fee, airfare, visa and meals on your own: Estimate – $5,392.50

  • Program Fee: $3,087
    (Includes in-country travel (airfare) and transportation (bus for visits), double-occupancy hotel rooms (7 nights) breakfasts and one dinner.) Students interested in a single room will pay an additional fee.
  • Airfare: up to $1,700 estimated 
  • Vietnam visa is required for US citizens: From $214 (Students from all countries should check requirements)
  • Estimated additional costs: $605
    (Including meals not included in program fee, train transportation within cities, etc.)
  • Financial Aid: Students eligible for Federal Stafford or Graduate Plus loans may apply to borrow to cover the costs of the trip. Contact Shanan Woods in the WU Financial Aid Office.

    Applications submitted after July 1 will be reviewed on a rolling basis
  • September 1: Full payment required - $3087
    (100% of program fee) – This will confirm your participation
    (NOTE: Financial Aid can be increased for current students during fall semester to cover the cost of the study abroad)

There will be no refunds after October 1st, due to policies and procedures with our international partners.

Program is subject to cancellation if the minimum number of participants is not met.

Germany Spring Semester Course

Full payment required for Germany (100% of program fee).


Refund Policy

There are no refunds after October 1 for Singapore or December 1 for Germany.
