Willamette MBA will offer two study abroad sessions each academic year. Select a session below for more information.

Berlin

Germany

GSM 726IG — Fall 2022


Trip Dates: December 14-21, 2022

Class Dates: December 3rd and January 21st

Application Deadline: open until filled

Full Payment Required: within 2 days of formal acceptance into the program
(If you qualify, financial aid can be extended to include entire program cost.)


Course Information: Germany

GSM 7261G is a one-credit graded independent study course. Credits for this course will count toward graduation requirements.

  • Professor: Gary Knight
  • Prerequisites: One semester of Willamette MBA coursework and good academic and conduct standing, completed Bachelor’s Degree
  • Tuition: There is no additional tuition charge, students are responsible for all program fees and estimated costs
  • Attendance: Course requires attendance and participation in class sessions prior to and following the trip

Estimated Cost

All inclusive of program fee, airfare, visa and meals on your own:

Estimated total costs — $5,200

  • Program fee: $2,900
    (Includes in-country travel (airfare) and transportation (bus for visits), double-occupancy hotel rooms (7 nights) breakfasts and one dinner (For students preferring a single room, an additional fee of approximately $350 will be charged to their student account.)
  • Airfare: $1,700 estimated 
  • Additional costs: $600 estimated
    (ex: meals not included in program fee, transportation within cities, etc)

Financial Aid

Students eligible for Federal Stafford or Graduate Plus loans may apply to borrow to cover the costs of the trip. Contact Shanan Woods in the WU Financial Aid Office.(NOTE: Financial Aid can be increased for current students during fall semester to cover the cost of the study abroad)

Refund Policy

There will be no refunds after Sept 10, 2022 due to policies and procedures with our international partners.

Program is subject to cancellation if the minimum number of participants is not met.

  • Valid passport is required
  • Visas are NOT required for US citizens. Visa process and charge varies by country of citizenship. Students that do need a visa can get information here.

Japan

Class Dates: Two Saturdays. 9 a.m.–2 p.m. in Salem
