Course Information

GSM 726IG is a one-credit, graded, independent study course. Credit for this course will count toward graduation requirements.

  • Professor: Gary Knight
  • Prerequisites: One semester of Willamette MBA coursework and good academic and conduct standing; completed Bachelor’s Degree. 3+2 students are welcome to apply, with acceptance on a case-by-case basis
  • Tuition: There is no additional tuition charge for full-time students enrolled in 9-18 credits. There will be an additional tuition charge beyond the flat rate for 9-18 credits.
  • Attendance: Course requires attendance and participation in class sessions prior to and following the trip.
Costs
  • Program Fee: Includes in-country travel and transportation; double-occupancy hotel rooms (7 nights); breakfasts and one dinner.
  • Program Fee will be direct-billed to your student account upon confirmation of program participation.
  • Students requesting a single-occupancy room will be charged an additional fee.
  • Students are separately responsible for airfare, meals not included in the Program Fee, non-program transportation fees, insurance, etc.
  • Refunds: There will be no refunds after the published date due to contract with our international program provider partners.
  • Financial Aid: The Program Fee and airfare may be covered by Financial Aid. Please contact Shanan Woods in the WU Financial Aid Office for more information.
Passport and Visa Information
  • A valid passport with an expiration date no sooner than six months after the program dates is required.
  • Students considering the MBA Study Abroad are encouraged to apply for/update their passports at their earliest convenience.
  • Students are responsible for checking Visa requirements for the countries traveling in.
