Biography
Samantha C. Jones (Costume Designer) is delighted to be joining the faculty, staff, and students of Willamette University this semester. For the past six years she has been working as a freelance designer in Chicago with such companies as Victory Gardens, Baliwick Chicago, Next Theatre Co., Rivendell Theatre Ensemble, 16th Street Theatre, Jackalope Theatre, Chicago Dramatists, American Blues Theatre, Congo Square Theatre and others. Regionally she has designed for Peninsula Players Theatre, Renaissance Theatreworks, ACTCO and Florida Studio Theatre. Some recent productions include Victory Garden’s world premiere of The Gospel of Lovingkindness, Baliwick Chicago’s Dessa Rose and See What I Wanna See, Next Theatre’s Great God Pan and Luck of the Irish, as well as Peninsula Players Theatre’s Over the Tavern. She is currently participating in Oregon Shakespeare Festival’s F.A.I.R. program as the Wig Assistant on the world premiere of The Great Society (currently running).
