Issue 27 - February 2016
We are all Bearcats, no matter our degree, major or generation. And the WUAA is our community — one that seeks to celebrate and support alumni no matter where life takes them. There are so many ways to engage with your Alumni Association; through affinity groups, regional chapters, Alumni Weekend, reunion committees, and even online via Switchboard, LinkedIn, Facebook and more.
Scroll below for ways to take part in the greater WU community, give back, and get the most out of your own Bearcat network this year!
Always a Bearcat!

Together We Transform
February 23 is an important day for Willamette University. Alumni, students, parents, employees and friends from around the world will again come together for our annual 24 Hours of Giving. The goal of this one-day event is to bring Bearcats together to support our alma mater through philanthropy. You can participate on February 23 in two ways:
- Make a gift to Willamette (any amount will count!).
- Volunteer on behalf of Willamette (you can sign up to volunteer online).
For those that join me in making a gift, you have the power to unlock a matching gift and several challenge grants for Willamette – working together we can have a BIG impact. Regardless of how you participate in Willamette’s 24 Hours of Giving, make sure to share your Bearcat pride on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat using the hashtag #WU24.
Together, we are Willamette.
Sincerely,
Bob Heck ’07 MBA ’11 WUAA Board of Directors
