For the following example, we will use the Asset Chooser to insert an internal link.
Select link text or image
In a content editor field, select the relevant text or image and click the Insert/Edit Link icon. The Asset Chooser will open in a pop-up window.
Choose an asset
In the Asset Chooser window, the link icon and search link allow you to choose an asset.
When clicked, three options are presented:
- Search box
- Browse icon
- Drop-down (history) list containing recently created, viewed, or edited assets.
Option 1: Search box
To use the search box, enter your key word(s), and the drop-down list will display results matching the text. If the desired asset is on list drop-down list, click on the path to select it, and then click the Insert button.
Option 2: Browse icon/link
Click the browse icon or link to launch the browse window. If needed, change to a different site by clicking the grey Sites drop menu in the upper right corner. Browse through the system tree to find the asset, click to select it, and then click the Confirm button to choose it.
On the next window, click the Insert button.
Option 3: Drop-down (history) list
Click one of the assets to select it, and then click the Insert button.
Submit to save
When you are finished editing the page, click the Submit button (bottom right corner).
Spell check
A spell check may appear. You can either modify specific words, or leave them set to "ignore" and Submit one more time.
A green bar at the top of the screen will indicate that your data was saved successfully.
