The Entrepreneurship concentration provides the opportunity to plan your own venture and actively participate in the process of angel investing. The Willamette MBA's unique “Developing New Ventures and Venture Investment” experience was ranked as a top 10 entrepreneurship course in the U.S. by Inc. magazine.

Students who choose to pursue a concentration in Entrepreneurship should consider the following elective courses.

  • GSM 6226 - Venture Investing I
  • GSM 6227 - Venture Investing II
  • GSM 6228 - Enterprise Development and Entrepreneurial Thinking
  • GSM 6281 - Developing New Ventures

In addition to entrepreneurship courses, students should prepare for their career by developing their knowledge and skills in all the functional areas required for successful decision-making in new ventures: marketing, finance, accounting, management systems, sales and industry analysis.

It is possible that a specific course may not be offered in a given year.
