Office of Student Affairs
The Office of Student Affairs (OSA) provides comprehensive support for law students. This office is where students conduct most of their daily business -- turning in Legal Research and Writing assignments, registering for classes, scheduling rooms for student organization events, and rescheduling examinations -- just to name a few. The OSA also oversees registration for law courses, administering examinations, and Commencement in the spring.
Changes to Graduation Requirements. The College of Law Faculty approved a change in our academic regulations. Effective now, beginning with the Class of 2014, the credits required for graduation are 70 Letter-Graded credits (instead of 75 Letter-Graded credits) and 20 Pass/No Pass credits for a minimum total requirement of 90 credits. Also, the residency requirement is that students accumulate five semesters of full-time study at WUCL instead of six semester of full-time study.
OSA Notary Policy Change. Effective July 1, 2013, the OSA notary services are limited to WUCL students and graduates for purposes of application to state bar examinations.

In order to receive your exam numbers on JASON you must complete all of your course evaluations.
All course evaluations must be completed on campus, as you need to be connected to the Blitznet wifi for it to submit to the server.
Exam Reschedule Forms: Mon-Fri, Nov. 18th-22nd. A student may FLEX a scheduled exam if the student has two exams scheduled within 24 hours of each other or three exams within three consecutive calendar days. Two exams on the same day, or an exam in the afternoon and one the next morning are considered to be "scheduled within 24 hours." However, two exams on successive mornings or on successive afternoons do not qualify as "scheduled within 24 hours" and petitions to reschedule an exam on this basis will not be considered. No rescheduled exam will be allowed to be taken prior to the scheduled date and time the exam is to be given.
What's the Schedule?! The week of Thanksgiving always causes some confusion. This short week is the one that makes up for Labor Day and Mid-Semester Break.
Monday, Nov. 25th will follow a regular MONDAY class schedule.
Tuesday, Nov. 26th will follow a regular THURSDAY class schedule.
Wednesday, Nov. 27th will follow a regular FRIDAY class schedule.
Class Attendance Tracking. You can check your class attendance records in JASON. Only dates of absences are recorded.
If you find a discrepancy in the records (for example, if you were marked absent on a day that you were in class), email or contact the professor to ask them to notify the OSA to correct the attendance date in question. We can only make a correction if the request is from the Professor.
Attendance sheets (that are turned in) are updated on a weekly basis.
