The Parent Leadership Council (PLC) is a community of Willamette University parents who set a leadership example through their volunteer support and commitment to furthering Willamette’s mission. The PLC also serves as a resource for prospective and current parents of the College of Arts and Sciences.
Membership
Willamette invites parents who serve in volunteer capacities with the University to join the PLC. Members are asked to participate in the PLC as long as they are serving in a volunteer capacity with the University. PLC members are asked to make a meaningful gift to the Willamette Annual Fund each year.
Leadership
The PLC is led by a chair or co-chairs each year and partner with Willamette staff to provide leadership around parent engagement communications and programs. They also provide support for fellow parent volunteers.
