|12:30 p.m.||LA holiday concert with fellow Bearcats|
Ring in the holiday season at the Walt Disney Concert Hall with a festival of carols sung by the one of the greatest choirs in the world! The iconic Disney Hall pipe organ will be played once again by the talented John West '73. We've also arranged a private, Willamette-only guided tour of the iconic concert hall before the show.

Please join us for a festive gathering of Los Angeles-area Bearcats and current Willamette parents following the Festival of Carols at the Walt Disney Concert Hall. Feel free to come to the reception even if you don't attend the concert.

|4 p.m.||Star Trees Lighting and Holiday Concert|
The 17th annual Star Trees Lighting and Holiday Concert will begin with a holiday dinner and end with a free concert.Holiday Dinner
A buffet dinner will be served from 4 to 7 p.m. in Goudy Commons. See the menu here.
The lighting of the five Giant Sequoias, planted in 1942, will begin at 6:30 p.m. in front of Waller Hall, where free hot chocolate and cookies will be served. Per tradition, the Interfraternity Council will accept donations of coats and clothing during the lighting ceremony to benefit people in need.
The five trees were planted by Willamette President Carl Sumner Knopf in honor of Willamette’s centennial. They are now some of the largest trees on any American campus.
The lighting ceremony will be followed by a free family concert at 7 p.m. at Smith Auditorium, sponsored by the university’s music department. The Willamette University Wind Ensemble and special guests will perform an array of seasonal music. Seating is limited.
