Exercise and Health Science majors (from left to right) Andrew Swanner, Tynan Gable and Kara Phillips were all recognized for their outstanding work and their contributions to advancing the ideals of the department. Andrew was recognized for his three years of service to the department as a peer tutor in the Anatomy Laboratory. Tynan received the Kinitzer award for her outstanding dedication to the department in terms of service and research contributions, including a biomechanical study of youth gymnastics with a specialized training protocol. The departmental impact award went to Kara Phillips for her engagement and leadership within the department and further for bringing Exercise and Health Science to the masses through the fitness center at Sparks. Please help us in congratulating these three, as well as other graduating seniors!
