Early Decision Program
Willamette is excited to offer an Early Decision Admission Program to applicants who consider Willamette University College of Law their number one choice for law school. Only applicants to the full-time three-year JD program are eligible to apply to the Early Decision Program.
If offered admission, applicants are guaranteed a scholarship award good for all three years of study at the law school as long as they remain in good academic and character and fitness standing. Willamette guarantees that all students awarded the Early Decision scholarship will never pay more -- and in many cases may pay less -- than the officially disclosed in-state tuition and fees charged by any of the public university law schools on the West Coast during their three years at Willamette.
Admission is highly competitive and applicants are evaluated using the same criteria as those who apply during the regular admissions process. Decision to the Early Admission Program will include: admit, waitlisted to the general applicant pool and deny.
Individuals must submit a complete application (see Application Requirements), including the Early Decision agreement section of the application, by November 15, 2013. Early Decision applicants will be notified of a final admission decision no later than mid-December and, if admitted, must submit a deposit postmarked by December 31, 2013 and withdraw from consideration at all other law schools.
