At Willamette's J.W. Long Law Library, we understand the demands of law school. That's why we've created a tranquil, modern space for students to study, read, and recharge. Dedicated in 1995, the library honors J.W. Long, a passionate supporter of education with a deep love for the law. His sons, both Willamette graduates, established this library as a tribute to their father, who valued technology and lifelong learning.

The J.W. Long Law Library houses nearly 300,000 volumes in print and microforms, complemented by extensive online resources. From state and federal primary law sources to essential books, journals, and databases, you'll find everything you need to excel in your legal studies.

    Due to staffing shortages, the library is currently closed to the public.

  • Alumni & Legal Community Access

    Alumni and members of the legal community can request guest cards by emailing lawlib-info@willamette.edu.
