Willamette Scholarships

All undergraduate students who apply to Willamette are automatically considered for merit-based scholarships starting at $25,000 per year. We also offer a variety of competitive awards based on talents and academic interests.

Important Financial Aid Deadlines

If you are applying for financial aid, here are some dates and deadlines.

Completing Your FAFSA

If you are applying for need-based financial aid, such as grants, federal student loans, you’ll need to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). You can access the form starting October 1; the deadline varies based on your student/applicant status:

Early Admission Candidates – January 10
Regular Admission Candidates – February 1
Returning Students – March 15

Accepting Your Award Letter

Newly admitted first-year students will receive a financial aid award letter in February. Graduate students will receive theirs in early March. You’ll find specific instructions and next steps your letter.
