Campus Recreation

From outdoor programs to sports clubs, we've got something for everyone who wants to be active.

Active, Inclusive, Fun

At Willamette, campus recreation is designed by students, for students, offering countless ways to stay active, connect with others, and explore the outdoors. Whether you're looking to hike or ski with the Outdoor Program, join a club sport, or dive into fitness at Sparks Athletic Center, there's something for everyone. Our mission is to foster an inclusive and supportive environment where every student can find their place, pursue wellness, and thrive.

Outdoor Program

Every semester the Willamette Outdoor Program offers a variety of services, including gear rentals, a bike shop, and trips doing everything from hiking to skiing. We’re here to help members of our community learn about their options for outdoor recreation, as well as provide resources for beginners to step safely out of their comfort zones.

Intramural Sports

Spend time with friends, get in a little exercise, and take a break from the stress of classes! We offer a wide variety of sports, each of which can be played at the level of competitiveness you are most comfortable with. Past sports leagues have included soccer, volleyball, flag football, and basketball.
