Student Learning Outcomes for the Master of Laws (LLM)
Graduates will have a basic understanding of United States law, along with a mastery of the fundamentals of a selected subfield.
Graduates will be able to apply comparative legal insights across sub-disciplines (e.g., international vs. domestic legal issues).
Graduates will have a firm grasp of the theoretical, policy-oriented, practical, and ethical dimension of lawyering
Graduates will be able to apply techniques they have learned from practical ("hands-on") experience in classes, while also having a firm grasp of the theoretical, policy and ethical issues in their selected subfield.
Selected international LLM graduates will be prepared to take a state bar exam.
