Successful career transitions do not come from MBA courses, alone. They come from gaining new knowledge and expertise, developing a new resume from applying what you learn to real organizations, and building the confidence, network and career management tools needed in a competitive global economy.
The curriculum of the Willamette Early Career/Career Change MBA is specifically designed for students seeking their first professional position or career change. It includes a strategic combination of: required courses that develop a broad understanding of management science and an integrated perspective of decision-making; the unique first-year PACE program; electives that develop in-depth expertise in ten areas of concentration; unparalleled experiential learning opportunities, and up to three semesters of internship experience.
Career services and co-curricular programs enhance the results of the curriculum and help students build the strategic career management, leadership and networking skills needed in business, government and not-for-profit organizations.
Our unique curricular learning experience would not be possible without the Willamette MBA faculty. They are experts in their fields and excellent teachers who work closely with their students and understand what it takes to prepare students for career success.
The results of the Willamette MBA curriculum are impressive. The curricular and co-curricular experiences prepare students for a successful transition to their next position and beyond. In fact, our program is described by our students and alumni as an important professional and personal turning point in their life.
The curriculum and curricular path vary slightly, particularly for students in dual degree programs. Review our registration guides to view the curricular path of required and elective courses for your program of interest.
