Our MBA/MS Data Science Dual Degree Program

Experience a dual degree program designed for the modern world. Complete both a master's in data science and MBA degree in just five semesters. Note, this program is open only to MBA students completing the Early Career/Career Change program.

Our curriculum is designed to develop leadership and technical skills concurrently. In our dual degree program, students learn about strategic decision making alongside applied machine learning and data visualization. Courses cover leadership styles and marketing as well as programs such as R and Python. This combined curriculum helps students gain the skills and expertise needed to thrive in tomorrow’s world.

  • GSM 5107 Marketing: Creating Satisfied Customers

    Experience an introduction to data science, using R to explore data visualization, wrangling, and predictive modeling. Learn essential workflows, including the tidyverse tools, while mastering the skills needed to create value and communicate insights within an enterprise. Apply your knowledge through hands-on exercises and a final integrative project.

  • DATA 505 Applied Machine Learning

    Machine learning is becoming a core component of many modern organizational processes. It is a growing field at the intersection of computer science and statistics focused on finding patterns in data. Prominent applications include personalized recommendations, image processing and speech recognition. Students will learn how to use machine learning to solve real world problems, run evaluations, and interpret their results.
