Willamette College Enrolling Student

The day after you reply to your offer of admission and pay your enrollment deposit, you can create your network account. You will receive an email to notify you when you are able to create your account.

This will activate your university email address and enable access to all the services you'll need as a student. Once activated, all future emails from Willamette University, including enrolling student steps, will be directed to your @willamette.edu email address.

You will need your student ID number to create your account. You can find your student ID number on your Applicant Status Portal (where you replied to your offer of admission and paid your deposit).

Failure to create your network account will delay other critical tasks, including course registration, housing and roommate assignment and bill payment.

If you have completed prior coursework and plan on future study in French, German, Japanese, Russian or Spanish, you must complete the language placement exam online regardless of the number of years of prior coursework. This is to ensure you are placed in the course that aligns with your knowledge and experience.

If you have completed prior coursework and plan on future study in Chinese, Greek or Latin, please review the placement process for your specific language.

If you intend on starting study in a language you have not completed prior coursework, no language placement exam is required.

Bearcat Book Bundle is a course materials delivery model offered by the Willamette Bookstore. The program helps simplify the process of sourcing, purchasing, and delivering books for your registered classes each semester before the first day of class.

You will receive an email on July 28 with instructions to verify your order. The deadline to opt-out for the fall 2025 semester is September 5.

All course materials are available for purchase individually at the bookstore if you do not wish to use the Bundle. You may opt out of the program from the Bearcat Book Bundle page and purchase your materials a la carte from the bookstore website using the opt-out term, or by making your purchase at the bookstore in person.

First year students, and transfer students with fewer than 62 transferable semester credits, must have a final high school transcript with graduation date sent directly from their high school. Proof of high school graduation or equivalency is required for financial aid disbursement.

All students with prior college enrollment (including as dual enrollment credit earned in high school) must also have official transcripts sent with the most recently completed term of grades included. Prior college coursework cannot be evaluated for transfer without updated official transcripts.

Failure to provide these materials by the first day of classes will result in a hold placed on your account preventing involvement in some activities and course registration in future semesters.

Students who wished to have their SAT or ACT scores considered in the application process, and who provided unofficial or unverified scores must submit a verified score report.

A score report is considered verified if:

• A download of scores from the testing agency website or screenshot of scores that includes the student’s name and scores submitted via email to bearcat@willamette.edu.
• An official SAT score report sent from the College Board.
• An official ACT score report sent from ACT.

Failure to provide these materials by the first day of classes will result in a hold placed on your account preventing involvement in some activities and course registration in future semesters.

During this step of the process, you will use the WU Housing Portal to:

• Review the Housing Contract and sign acknowledging you accept the terms;

All students must complete required trainings about sexual assault prevention, alcohol and other drug prevention, and topics on the subject of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging. These trainings are assigned by the Office of Student Affairs to promote a community of respect, safety, and health.
