Biography
Sallee holds an MFA in creative writing from Antioch University - Los Angeles. Her critical paper explored creative writing as a method to advance fluency in ESL students. She earned her BA in English literature and writing with a minor in design from California State University, Northridge. She is currently an MBA candidate at the Atkinson Graduate School of Management. Prior to working at Willamette University, she taught freshman composition at Purdue University online and ESL at Hosei University in Tokyo for two semesters. Before this career change to higher education, she worked in the film industry as a talent agent representing actors and writers. Sallee is the Senior Program Coordinator for the MBA-Professionals program. She is also available to tutor students with their writing assignments. In her spare time, she likes to host dinner parties and can often be found decorating her friends’ homes.
