About Maya
- Major: Psychology
- Minor: Public Health
- Hometown: McKinney, TX
- Extracurriculars: Willamette Events Board (WEB) as a general events planner, but now will be co-president for Fall 2024
- Favorite classes: Any psych class! I also really enjoy the art history classes.
- Favorite place on campus: Probably Rick's Cafe in the law school or the second floor of the library near the windows when it is sunny.
- Favorite place off campus: IKE box (they have a student discount) or Gov Cup! I also love Riverfront Park and Silver Falls when it is sunny outside.
FUN FACTS
- I have a three legged german shepherd mix
- Two summers ago I hiked the tallest peak in Los Angeles County (Mt. Baldy)
- Every New Year's Day I hike roughly 11 miles to Inspiration Point (located in Angeles National Forest)
- I love the color yellow and sunflowers
