1. Satisfactorily complete 124 credits (doc), of which no more than two may be earned in internships. At least 60 of these credits must be earned in residence. The final year of study shall be spent in residence or in Willamette approved off-campus study programs.
  2. Apply no more than 48 credits in a single department and no more than 56 credits in any major program toward the minimum of 124 credits required for graduation. Internship credits are exempted from this limitation.
  3. Satisfactorily complete an approved major program, including the Senior Year Experience.
  4. Satisfactorily complete the General Education Program which includes:
    • Eight Writing-centered credits
    • Twenty Distribution credits
    • Sixteen World Engagement credits, which include:
      • 8 credits Completion of a non-English Language (NEL) through the second semester (132) level.
      • 8 credits World Engagement credits fulfilled through:Continued study in a NEL (231 or above on courses with a language department prefix)
        • Study Abroad
        • Culture and Values (CV)
        • Service Learning (SL)
    • Four Power, Diversity, and Equity (PDE) credits
