All dual graduate degree programs, including JD/MBA, MBA/MSDS, MA/MFA qualify for the same financial aid as the stand-alone graduate programs. Merit scholarships based on academic achievement, along with federal loans and federal work study programs are available for the entire duration of the programs.
For accelerated programs such as the BA/MBA and 3+3 BA/JD programs, students continue to receive all undergraduate financial aid options, including merit scholarships, for the first eight semesters and are charged at the undergraduate tuition rate. After the eight semester, students are then considered graduate students and are charged at the corresponding graduate program rate, but can also access graduate-level finance opportunities, along with graduate merit scholarships. For the 3+1 BS/MSDS and BS/MSCS programs students also continue to receive all undergraduate financial aid options, including merit scholarships, for the first eight semesters and are charged the undergraduate rate. Only in their last semester (usually in the summer) are they charged at the graduate rate and then gain access to graduate-level finance opportunities.
The Willamette Financial Aid Office can provide information on your different options and help you plan and complete your accelerated and joint degree plans.
